The LidRest was created in 2010 and has been trailled in homes as prototypes. In 2015 the LidRest was Patented and since, has been under progress to be shared with the world.

The LidRest was designed for the ease of the placement of lids whilst cooking. It is intended to be used safely, so no condesation burns occur whilst in use. The design is simple and every LidRest is hand welded at the hip. The production isn't simple with CNC machines, as it is cut, bent and welded by hand. Special molds have been created for some ease of production.

Our suppliers are based in China and we utilise the highest quality of food grade Stainless Steel 316. Can be used safetly around food and has anti slip rubber boots at both ends of the rods. The design has continually been upgraded to allow for many diameter lids, ranging from small to large. Aimed for minimal condensation drips and decreases spread of bacteria.
